Budgyo ("we", "our", or "us") is a budgeting application designed to help users manage personal finances. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about how information is handled.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is processed when you use the Budgyo mobile application (the "App").
Budgyo does not collect, store, transmit, or process your personal or financial data on external servers. All budgeting data, transactions, and user settings are stored locally on your device.
We may receive limited non-personal technical information automatically, such as crash logs or performance diagnostics, through Apple or third-party tools if enabled. This information does not identify you and is used solely to improve app stability and performance.
Sensitive user settings (such as display name, currency, and preferences) are stored securely using the device's encrypted keychain (e.g., Expo SecureStore).
Other budgeting data, including transactions and budgets, is stored locally on the device and protected by iOS device-level encryption and sandboxing.
We do not have access to your locally stored data.
The App allows you to manually export and import your budgeting data.
When exporting data, you may be required to set a password. Exported backup files are encrypted using industry-standard encryption and can only be decrypted with the password you choose.

Because your budgeting data remains on your device, we do not analyze or process your financial or personal data.

No personal or financial data is transmitted to our servers.
All data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App.
Exported files are retained according to your chosen storage location and settings.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data. Because your data is stored locally, you control these actions directly through the App.
Budgyo is not intended for children under 13 years of age (or 16 in the UK/EU). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
You are responsible for maintaining your own backups. We are not responsible for data loss caused by device failure, deletion, forgotten passwords, or corrupted backup files.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the App or on our website.
